You'll still need a copper line set sized for your run, a condenser pad, an outdoor disconnect, electrical wiring, and a thermostat. Professional installation by a licensed HVAC technician is required for refrigerant work.
How does this system heat?
This is an air conditioner, so heating comes from the included 5 kW electric heat strip inside the air handler. It's a simple, reliable setup for areas with short, mild winters. If you heat for much of the year, a heat pump system will usually cost less to run.
