The most powerful Duo in the Field Controls lineup. The Duo-2000 pairs a 50 watt, high-intensity UVC lamp with photocatalytic and carbon stages, giving your whole home cleaner, fresher air every time the system runs. It is a simple add-on to almost any new system on our site.

The Duo-2000 installs inside your ductwork and treats the air your HVAC system already moves. Its UVC lamp is the strongest in the Duo family, putting more germicidal light into the treatment zone, while the PRO-Cell™ and AirFresh™ stages go after odors and VOCs. It runs on 120V or 230V power, so it adapts to most installations.

Common Questions
Where does it go?
It installs in the ductwork, typically in the supply or return duct or near the A-coil. Because it fits inside existing ductwork, it is easy to add during a new system install or at a later service visit.
Will it work with the system I am buying?
It is sized for forced-air systems from 1.5 to 5 tons, which covers most residential split systems, heat pumps, and air handlers on our site. Add it to your order so it is ready to go in with your new equipment.
Duo-2000 or Duo-16: which should I choose?
Both use the same three-stage design and fit the same system sizes. The Duo-2000 uses a 50 watt lamp for higher UV intensity and runs on 120V or 230V. The Duo-16/120V uses a 30 watt lamp on 120V and is the more budget-friendly pick.
What maintenance does it need?
The PRO-Cell™ core is maintenance free. The UVC lamp loses output over time and should be replaced periodically according to Field Controls' guidance.
