R-32 Engineered
Built for R-32 from the ground up. Factory-installed refrigerant leakage detection sensor. R-32 is the new residential refrigerant standard — lower environmental impact, higher efficiency than old R-410A.
All-Aluminum Construction
Tubing, fins, and end plates — all aluminum. Excellent heat transfer. Resistant to formicary corrosion, the pinhole-leak failure mode that kills traditional copper coils in humid climates.
Factory-Installed TXV
Ships with a thermal expansion valve already installed — works in both cooling and heat pump setups. The TXV meters refrigerant flow automatically, keeping performance steady as load conditions change.
Upflow or Downflow — Your Choice
Install either orientation on standard furnace and air handler cabinets. The 21" cabinet depth makes attic installs easier to access.
Thermoplastic Drain Pan
Low water-retention drain pan with secondary drain connections. Foil-faced insulation cuts condensation. Drain pan rails allow repositioning without structural compromise.

The CAPTA vertical evaporator coil is designed for 1.5 ton R-32 systems with a factory-installed thermal expansion valve and an all-aluminum coil. The cabinet uses foil-faced insulation to reduce condensation, and the coil is built with optimized circuits and manifolds for R-32 refrigerant. Available in upflow and downflow configurations with a 21-inch depth for easier attic access.
